Heritage Trail Tour

The African American Heritage Trail Tour, a powerful guided experience that brings the untold Black history of High Point, North Carolina, to life. This weekly tour transforms the city into a living classroom, traveling through historic neighborhoods, landmarks, and cultural sites that shaped High Point’s African American community.

Participants will learn about the people, institutions, businesses, and sacred spaces that built and sustained the city—stories rooted in resilience, innovation, and legacy that are often missing from traditional history lessons. From early Black enterprises to community hubs and everyday life, each stop honors the lived experiences that continue to influence High Point today.
