FYI: When your bus tour ticket purchase is complete you will receive an email confirmation and receipt and your name will be added to our Guest List. Be sure to keep your confirmation email, however you DO NOT need to print your tickets.

Early Arrival: You must arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the departure of the AA Heritage Trail Tour for check in, Washington Terrace Park pool entrance at 108 Murray Street.
All Sales are Final! Be sure to confirm your selection of tour date & time BEFORE completing your purchase. Tickets are valid only for the day/date purchased, unless otherwise agreed upon by the owner.
By purchasing the African American Heritage Trail Tour tickets you indicate your understanding & acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, including as outlined on our page.

African American Heritage Trail Tour Guidance
COST
Private and Group Tours
Private & group bus tours via the African American Heritage Trail Tour Bus allows for multiple guides and routes, and can safely and comfortably accommodate any size group, ranging from 6 to 12 passengers. Private group tours can be booked for an approved time of day, limited days of the year.
Some Tours are active with walking included, but we also offer Step-On and/or Step-On/Step-Off services if you provide the transportation. Group rates are available for most tours.
A Heritage Trail Group Tour Confirmation & Deposit Agreement will be provided listing all prices, deposits, tour times and other details upon booking.

Founded in 2019, the African American Heritage Trail highlights the city's rich African American history and culture through 11 different sites, including the Blair-Coltrane House, Historic First Baptist Church(now land site), and Greenhill Cemetery.
The African American Heritage Trail was developed in partnership with several members of the Washington Street Historic Preservation Society. A group dedicated to protecting, preserving, revitalizing and maintaining the architectural characteristics and historical significance. Originally funded in part by Visit High Point, the Heritage Trail has been a long standing cultural based project. The African American Heritage Trail Tour is a guided tour with multiple stops designated on the route. Your purchase comes with a mini tour guide .
Walking Activities
All tour destinations require physically being able to walk actively or the use of handicapped accessible equipment.
Periods of Standing In Place
All tour destinations require moving and Standing in Place for periods of time, inside and outside in different weather climates.
Stairs and Steps
During each tour you may experience activities that require you to walk up/down stairs or steps.
